Im using retargeted animations for a new AOW, and in one of them, PC goes so high up that it messes up the camera when locked onto an enemy. I managed to fix it when unlocked with lockCamParam but I can’t get it to work when locked

Would I actually need to edit the hkx itself in 3ds max?

Get Havok Content Tools 2018 if that's not already the case, then check the Y Root Motion in the "Extract Motion" Settings

i alr need to clean up some of the general movement animations so popping open 3ds max was inevitable

Enable everything except turning

#

generally you want to turn off the Up/down motion too but in your case, since it's a jumping anim, that's what you want to turn on
