So I’m pretty new to modding, and Elden ring was my first game that I have been building a mod for. I have been working on this mod for some time now, and have been wondering what the dlc would mean for my mod, as I have never had to account for something like this before. Will it mean I have to start again? Will I have to make serious edits?

you'll likely just have to import all your edits in the new dlc files
What files have you editted so far?
Only like, regbin and script changes, or also map and anim stuff
Map and anim stuff are not as easy to port, rebin and script are
Or are you writing a dll mod?
what's the deal with anim stuff ? It's not like they're gonna change the skeleton right
