#Merging Armor Pieces

yeah that's something you have to fix in blender
essentially the imported armor piece is weighted to a bone that isn't present in the base armor
the legging doesn't have all the arm bones for example
and you're importing a chestpiece
so if I were to merge a chestpiece with another chestpiece, the issue can be avoided?
if the chestpiece roughly looks the same yeah
By looking the same i mean, covering the same parts of the body
hmm I see
is it possible to import those pieces into blender and merge them manually?
I just don't want them to lose the physics so im a bit worried about that
yeah that's what i meant, you have to weigh the meshes you wanna import into the targeted armor's armature in blender
keeping the physics is complex
if you want to keep the cloth, you're better off just not touching the cloth meshes
with FbxImporter you can selectively delete and add the meshes to flver
so just add the meshes of the newly weighted armor
and use the armor that has cloth as the target armor (the one you actually equip)
seems a bit above my skillset rn but il give it a shot 👍
ty for the guide
kinda worked
i mean i didn't do blender or anything
i just used the FLVER editor
to add the headpiece (with no physics)
to the sanguine noble chestpiece
so it frees up an armor slot for the crucible leg armor
yeah ok you didn't do what you planned at first
