Hi everyone, I am new to modding. However, I have already familiarized myself with programs like Yapped, Blender, UXM and some others. I would like to learn about the possibility of adding or changing the type of elemental damage when using special techniques of certain weapons.
For example, I would like to add some kind of elemental effect (fire, dark, magic, etc) to Gael's sword when using a special technique, preferably during its use.
In Yapped, I was able to partially realize what I had in mind by changing the techniques of Gael's sword and Lorian's sword. Gael's sword now uses the Sword of Lorian technique and continues to burn after use, and I did the same with some other techniques with elemental effects (the Onyx Blade technique, putting fire on Profaned Greatsword's enhanced strikes, and the Straight Sword of the Ringed Knight technique), which means that the effects can be applied, though sometimes it doesn't look or work very well. However, normal buffs with elemental spells or resins apply just fine, even on the integrated Wolf's Gravestone, and everything looks adequate to the original set of muvs of the chosen weapon [Gael].
Yeah, I just want Gael's sword to use some sort of effect, but preferably only when using his special abilities, like Profaned Greatsword, during boosted attacks.
Alas, I could not achieve anything other than what I described above, perhaps this program will not give me such an opportunity, and have to climb into the files of the game, but still I understand that there is a way out, take for example the same "Convergence", this mod has a bunch of original sets of muvs, and with their own effects, and perhaps it can be done in the files of the game itself.
