You can use the new flver editor I believe.
this is ER but I believe its similar for DS3, if not you can do this in the old flver editor too
I edit the bones and save but the bones don't appear in anim studio
which flver are you editing? and where is it located
I tried to edit the c0000 chrbnd but that didn’t work so I edited the bones on friede’s scythe but I don’t see it
? it probably only has one bone. And you wanted to edit dummyPolys, right? those are not bones

did you repack the partsbnd afterwards?
I exported as a flver and put it in parts

the flver needs to be inside of the weapon's partsbnd
you can unpack and repack using witchybnd

ok, so I download witchybnd turn the weapon parts into a file put the flver inside and repack?
overwrite the original flver inside, yes
it's frankly weird you didn't do this to get the flver in the first place 
What do I drag on to witchybnd?
the partsbnd to unpack, then the unpacked folder to repack
ok, here's what I did
I dragged sister friedes weapon part on to witchy it became a file
I dragged sister friede's edited flver into the file
and overwrite/replaced the existing flver
so far so good
I dragged the file on witchybnd, but the file is still here

if you dragged the folder, then it updated the partsbnd
check the partsbnd last modified date to verify

if you're using mod engine, you will need to tell dsanimstudio where the project folder is
I downloaded convergence file and used the anibnd in there, but I don't see the dummypolys
which partsbnd did you modify

did you also do the _l variant?

so I go back to flver editor and edit the bones on it
you can just copy the flver you already modified
it's the same weapon, just slightly lower detail for phantoms

if you count the convergence file as one, yes.
oh! also when using dsanimstudio, did you tick "use unpacked game files"

in the game file od ds3
its a file named "The Convergence"
I guess it isn't mod engine
when I click inside the modengine file isn't present
if it's a folder named The Convergence then it's using mod engine
when using dsanimstudio, tell it that's your project folder
do I only enable "load uxm unpacked files"?
did you unpack the game with uxm?

question, can you open anims and show me a picture of friede great scythe dummypolys
when I customize the entity untils and click on it, it only shows golden ritual spear for some odd reason
are you sure you didn't replace friede's scythe flver with the wrong weapon lmao
