those are unrelated. in explorer, under the file menu you should be able to access the folder options; in there you can uncheck the option to hide file extensions for known filetypes
it's a stupid thing that windows does
ok ive done that but the mods still dont work ive put them extracted in the mods folder but still
is the mod folder filled with folders like parts, chr, param etc?
thats all thats in the mods folder

modengine comes with a folder named mod by default
put the files from those folders you have
directly into that mod folder
not inside folders with the name of each mod.
do i need to put in the regulation.bin file from the mods into the mod folder because theres one in every mod and it asks me to replace it
