#Installing GParam Files With Seamless Co-op

probably not using the right paths
has nothing to do with seamless
or not modifying the right gparams
these are the files i've modified. Removing the Bloom and Lighshaft params through xml since disabling them in Gparamstudio didn't do anything
so i assume it's install location, or something else
it has to be <Your mod folder where youd normally have regulation.bin etc.>\param\drawparam
the "mods" folder in ER folder is for DLL mods for Elden Mod Loader
what you are doing is making a content mod for Mod Engine 2
gotcha
in that case. If I want to use those .DLL mods, the Param mods, and seamless coop how would i set that up and run it?
there are several ways to do it
the traditional one is to use Mod Engine 2 and manually edit its .toml file to add the Param mod you want
then use Elden Mod Loader to load the DLL mods (of which Seamless also is one)
I personally prefer and recommend Metis Mod Launcher, which is basically the same thing, except you get a graphical interface for setting up the TOML instead of doing it by hand
- it reveals a ""hidden"" feature of Mod Engine 2 to load DLLs, so you dont actually need Elden Mod Loader at all
I installed all the mods through metis properly, but the bloom still seems to be there
i even removed the setting from the outdoorweather gparam files
for reference i'm using the erdtree's bloom to test whether or not it works
im fairly sure bloom isnt even on in the game by default
kirn had to specifically enable it for ERR
so thats not bloom you're thinking of
its something else the erdtree does
so what is the effect called in ER?

confirm that your content mod loads correctly by changing Shield Bash text to Bield Sash or something
then you can continue
do you know which folder the weapon art UI text is located?
is the conversion using Yabber the same as Gparam files?
so it's loading properly
i dontk now what your question means
use witchy, not yabber, if you want to edit gparams
i figured out i could just use witchy to convert to .xml then edit the text
like with the params
when i said yabber i meant witchy. my bad.
yeah you can
its just a bit more annoying cuz its such huge lists
and the goods info/caption/name are spread out acrooss files
etc
i'm used to using notepad's find function so it's quicker than clicking through some UIs
