I can't seem to be able to Patch Dark souls 2, I have unpacked it but everytime I try to patch it i get an error

No, you don't. you'd just get an error like that if it was

can you check if the exe is readonly?

also check your task manager juuuust to make sure it isn't running

i forget which games refuse to quit fully sometimes

After I patched the game I tried to launch it

#

And it gives me an error

#

Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)

I tried updating windows, restarting pc, install net Framework, changing which compatibility it should start for and neither worked

Which version of UXM are you using, and are you also using mod engine
