Sekiro

EDIT: [Straight answer is posted near the bottom, or here #1089156295745093692 message]

As the title says, I can't seem to open the .lua files of Isshin (54000), and so all I can read about is reds and symbols reminding me of BSOD. puddingcat
IIRC, there was supposed to be another copy of the file but decrypted, and it doesn't appear here so it's safe to say that something's definitely wrong.

My VisualStudioCode is the latest v1.76, installed recently.
DSLuaDecompiler I have are 2, the latest from the GitHub; and a fork of Nex3's which are posted over at #tools-and-resources. fatcat

Do tell if someone experienced this before, like if you do, please tell me what steps I need to do to bypass this issue. lizSorrow

@wispy canyon your files look pretty much identical to mine.

#

What Are you using to read these ?

#

I use CE to view LUA not sure what is missing .

#

Notepad++ also has a .lua plugin and it's free

#

What I use is described above = VisualStudioCode v1.76.
What's missing is that there's supposed to be a decrypted version of the same file.
I'll check out the Notepad++ .lua plugin, if it doesn't show me the weird symbols and all.

@wispy canyon so I got visualstudiocode and binary seemed to be one of the issues. By intalling binary addons I can now read the "output" and search for text . But honetly having the left larger part be text that can be read Hks style would be welcome. Im sure the is a addon for that but I need to find it.

#

Where the red squares were now it's a all white binary and no longer seems to create a conflit on file open.

wispy canyon
#

Binary addons, eh? Good to know

#

I'll check that one out, thanks for the tip!

@wispy canyon there is literally 100s of addons but alot of them have a least 1 or 2 similar functions. I only scrolled through a few but with all those Would be surprised if none of them actually convert binary script to text.

#

Oh...

#

What's the addon you've got installed?

#

I kind of not want to browse through the dozens of them

#

On the left part of screen in the column the addons are in is a search box...if you right click you can select thoses reccomended to you. I grabbed a couple in which I recognized functions...Binary was one of them. Very close to the top

#

Like Json, C#, Python, Binary, .Net
Think that is all I took but the list seemed like it went on and on .

#

I just checked extensions is the 4 squares on the left completely...with the upper right square offset.
