It's been recently informed to me that even during a fight you're supposed to be able to see a similar party list showing connection strengths and the like just like you would at a boat before launching a fight or circuit, and on the in-between fights screen when you're doing a circuit. The thing is, I don't see that UI on the left side when a fight is going on, AND I don't see connection bars on the in-between screen if they're supposed to be there as well.

I was wondering in the shower this morning if it might be something like that, I'll have to check in case it's a thing that somehow has always been defaulting to hiding party member's hp or something like that

So this is what my ui settings look like, but I don't see the list of players or hp or connection strengths ever once the fight is started

Youre hiding your party member list. Which should include the net bars
