#Dan-ah needs a rework/buff

Danah's gameplay is extremely simplistic. She has a low skill floor and a low skill ceiling. There is little room to min-max damage output. She was like the last character to even get a guide written for her (was there even one written for her?) during the community event to write guides for each character.

Her SP moves just sort of exist in a isolation and little interaction with 3 of them performing the same function: damage and mana generation.

Suggestions:

Block should generate SP.

Active: Penitent Slash cooldown should be reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds.

Active: Mourning should be able to be charged for more damage and mana generation like Lann's Raging Fever.

Active: Purify Evil is only used to restore stamina, which is not that common since Danah doesnt have bad stamina management anymore. This ability should provide an attack speed buff for 30 seconds.

Active: Ritual Ending should have its cooldown reduced for every successful final attack in Danah's counterattack ability.

her dmg maybe a bit like 1-2 % but that is also irelevant

characters with huge eye frames tend to have a bit less dmg to make the playstile balanced since those characters

I resent Kael's inclusion in that list with a fiery passion.

He is absolutely an easy, simple, and forgiving character, but his fundamental DPS rotation does require engaging the boss. Dan-ah and Achel both utilize long lasting combos that ENTIRELY ignore hitboxes.

On topic though, I agree Dan-ah needs a rework, all points mentioned in the post are spot on.

bruh... facepalm raging fever can't be charged. he can charge GUST sting, which can then be chained into raging fever. an actual comparison would be the move grimden can charge (forgot it's name. i think 'cleave'?) or sanya's rmb. or sou's tab rmb

anywho.. the main thing that's unsatisfying about danah's gameplay for me (aside from when you eventually get insanely bored of doing the same thing over and over again which is either second or third smash into tab) is when she has to do a lot of defending (and her tab counterattack is on cooldown).

you know what would be really cool?

if you could press tab (where she throws her sword)

and then just teleport to it

could use that to teleport AWAY from a boss, say once he starts a long string

cuz rn you can't teleport to the sword unless it actually HITS an enemy... which is really dumb. and also the act of teleporting uses an exorbitant amount of mana... so basically it's useless.

i think it should use no mana (and ofc be usable w/o having to hit an enemy)

that way you could sort of use it like vergil's teleport thing, which would be pretty fun.

You can tab to throw sword then tab again to teleport to it

yeah ik i'm asking they remove the mana cost from it. it's essentially useless/unusable because of how much mana it costs.

oh also block > tab shouldn't be UNUSABLE if you don't have mana when the tab doesn't use mana... like that's just so dumb
