I prefer to keep frozen & frozen bug (Random no work) than
remove it completely, it worked fine on mobs or sub bosses,
even old bosses working all fine, just need to fix it, please
don't remove completely, why didn't ask Staff Players to
vote polls if agree remove completely or keep it :/ Please...
Reason I use Frozen: Bosses in Red Moon, Ein Lacher's Old
Bosses and Crom's Clones/Statues
Fire Mastery -> Set ablaze effect
Lightning Mastery -> Stamina Restoration
Ice Mastery -> ??

Why not just only disable frozen on future new bosses?
Can keep frozen on old level bosses, is all fine, simple

another solution would have been to give a new SP skill to 100% trigger freeze (staff does not have flinch skill unlike most other classes either)
or set freeze chance to 0% for any future raid bosses if you dislike it that much

but yeah, rather keep it than remove completely without alternative or new utility for ice

SP Skill Freeze won't happen, reason? Try it with Dark Knight's Fissure
it's same Ice Frozen, but color is Black and it also get bug unable freeze on
bosses sometime, is been long years

tbh, only ever saw freeze as a good thing even with its rng. it was never problematic for me even in parties.
assuming the devs were talking about random freeze causing issues with holds or something, that is not really as big of a thing to warrant removing the mechanic

i think the least resource intensive is giving ice blast 100% freeze with a 4-8 minutes cooldown. nobody uses that skill unironically. the only drawback is that you wont be able to spam the skill in BiR on normal mobs as much and have to strategically save it to the last boss.

Already happend in first time raid Titan, 2x frozen then 8min? then 2x frozen
But won't happen on new raids, because is much work for Nexon, just return it
that's all we want, fix may be later, still have it is better than none...

The ice-type skill status effect, "Frozen," is a status effect that can create an advantageous situation by instantly freezing the enemy, but it was difficult to activate with the intended timing in modern gameplay, and considering that it was actually interfering with party play, we have removed the effect.

it only ever bothered some people sometimes in raid content ONLY during the actual raid boss
and ONLY because we did not have any way to control it
It is such overkill to remove it from all content sadHD
The alternative was to simply disable it for raid bosses WHICH YOU ALREADY DO for Hero+ content (??)

To me I think Evie's frozen skill is like Karok's clash skill where it keeps the boss still for players to attack
