So i played the demo today with my friend, here are some things that i noticed which can or cannot be negative:
- The effects are more high quality and the icons are less pixelated (isnt bad at first sight, just a weird sight to see in a neon abyss game)
- Melee Weapons arent as rewarding i think, the baseball bat (glizz i believe) was the only good one
- Bro and me mostly just argued about who gets what, maybe make the resources shared or when one picks something up, both get it and it disappears, make it so that artifacts dont go away when one person picks it up, and rather make it so that everybody gets a fair choice
- I liked it more when a Curio came with a weapon, but this is also a good concept, just make them appear more often
- Too many useless artifacts with not enough descriptions (like dragonlord scale, why would i want coins when a egg is hatched)
- Half-assed tutorial, really didnt explain much about wisps, death door, specials, wonder works, wonder vessels, new quests, (jump pack or whatever, didnt pick up a item with that in the description because i didnt know what it was).
- Not really much lore or a quick intro, is this a alternative universe? where are the other agents? (maybe i skipped some text or dialogue or im just ignorant to those details that i didnt pick up)
- Definitely work on the multiplayer stuff, game rooms most importantly, i did the basketball mini game and when i jumped and threw the basketball, it just picked it up back instantly (i know its a demo and they said to expect that but im just saying)
- To be honest, the artworks for the agents look uncanny and ai generaterd, maybe im just the only person who sees it that way
- I loved it that you have to look out which faith you leveled in the first part, which now just seems thrown away, i dont see the red believe being leveled nor the purple
- Enemy projectiles seem to just blend in with the background, might be a me problem
- NEED MORE SYNERGIES!!!
