NQN is a Verified bot and allows non Nitro users to use emojis from other servers if they have NQN as well. And it only allows Emojis as far as I know.
As for allowing it, it allows non Nitro users to use the emojis they like from other servers here.
That's as far as the benefits I know about NQN.
