The Mandrake Team is our Events team responsible for curating interactive experiences within our community. The hobbyist wing focuses on our Classrooms section including a wide variety of talents and hobbies including art, photography, cooking, gardening, music, pet care, fashion and beauty, sports, and much more.

We are looking for creative team players, who are good at ideation, and can visualize a theme for the month and how various events they propose can fit into them. Proposed events need to be practical, and balance entertainment with usefulness in real life, helping community member hone different skills. Candidates need to be responsible, passionate for their events, contribute to the healthy communicative environment, and be good at influencing people to participate in all types of events.

Magic Madness Similar to march madness basketball tournament in the US, we start with the 16 most popular harry potter characters and have votes over a 2 week period to determine the best one. People fill out brackets and the person with the most points at the end wins.

Choose your Own Adventure: HP edition Happens over the course of 7 days, on the first day they get a starter prompt, and you write a 1 paragraph of what happens becuase of that prompt, the the person with the best prompt is the winner. The winner of each day is determined by whoever has the most reactions on their message. Day 2's prompt is determiend from the winner of day 1. and so on until the story is over.

I and the team could come up with an event that involves a test of creative thinking, creating scenarios in the lore and how they would overcome it if they were to be in that situation, or we could create an activity that deals with clever mysteries on popular figures from the history, creating a game like setting and the members could use their RP characters if needed, though the main point of these activities are to improve their creativity and witty thinking which can assist them in real life instances.

Why do you think you will be a good fit for this role?
Since childhood, I have had a strong creative bent of mind. I try to find creativity in almost everything around me. From the birth of new leaves to the colours and patterns in flowers - I am fascinated by them all. Whenever I listen to a song, apart from listening, I try to imagine a suitable music video for it in my head by focusing on the lyrics and mood of the music. Mostly my imagination matches with the actual music video lol. I love visualizing.
And I am a good team player. I have had a lot of experience moderating communities - both offline and online. This role excites me to a whole new level because I feel it aligns perfectly with my interests and skills

What are some activities you can conduct to contribute in this role?
There are so many in my head, one of them being an Album Cover Art Battle wherein participants create custom album covers based on a particular instrumental music given to them. The event would not only encourage creativity but would also aid in bringing music lovers and artists together.
Also I shall conduct events like "storytelling, but using song titles" (taylor songs will help a lot lol). Debates on topics such as "Mars colonization first v/s Fixing Earth first" shall fuel scientific knowledge of the participants. For fashion, I shall conduct events like "fashion Archaelogy" wherein focus will be laid on historical fashion trends that deserve a comeback.

I’ve chosen ones that I have more experience with personally or have more of an interest in but I believe I am able to branch outside of these and create events for other classrooms aswell.

I have previous experiences in a role a lot similar to this in this server, which I enjoyed doing and loved to make events with. Through that, i was able to conduct successful events which people were able to enjoy and take part in! I believe I am creative enough to propose different ideas and debate them among the team. I can drive people to take part and participate in events and make them interesting, considering the interests people have in the server. I can work well as a team and be able to help come up with different ideas and such for events.

7. What are some activities you can conduct to contribute in this role?
Quillcraft - events surrounding poetry or creative writing. Asking users to create a poem or short story based around a prompt or the theme of the month. We could also conduct ‘classes’ based on different genres or popular tropes, and give out an assignment to create something/research the class topic more independently.
Potions - sharing recipes, sharing baking ideas or cooking. Ask users to take a picture of their meals or recipes they’ve tried or made themselves.
DADA - regular classes on online safety surrounding a case study. Answering questions based off the study and another research task users could do.
Charms - designing a runway gown or yule ball outfit, showing off clothes of the day, what different hp characters would wear to different events.
Art - different creative expressions based on a given theme or prompt. Drawing flowers for spring or house crests/ house related art.
Fantastic Beasts - encouraging people into posting their pets or animals sleeping (like a previous event) or any cute pictures of dressing up their pets too.
Music - a playlist (such as pookie playlist) that people can get involved in and then play in a VC event. Have people share a song that resonates with them. Maybe a class/lesson on different genres of music and popular artists. Ask users to try and write a verse of their own based on their chosen genre or inspired artists.

All of these would depend on the theme chosen for the month which we can collaborate on as a team. For example, for april, a popular theme may be jinxes (for April fools) or possibly a spring theme for the weather. So events would vary based off of the prompt we would give

8. What are some weaknesses you feel could challenge you in this role?
It really depends on how we work as a team, but lack of communication and discourse would make this role difficult. I think it’s important to bounce ideas off of each other so it turns into an all round debate experience. Negativity would also get me down as I try my best to have a positive outlook on things.

5. I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. Since I love learning, I have a decent stock of knowledge about almost all of the major hobbies. But my favourites include quillcraft, astronomy, herbology, potions, DADA, Muggle Studies and occasionally a bit of music.
6. I think I'm a good fit for the role because I have a natural vested attitude of always learning, this fits me well with most team activities which I find is a crucial factor for any event management programme. Moreover, I'm also somewhat of a punctuality freak This means that I prefer being 20 minutes early that 10 minutes late. This, I feel, is also an important part of any role with regard to events. Furthermore, I have a competitive streak and always dream up weird competitions with friends(chemistry related stuff mostly), this also boosts my creativity.

7. The activities that I feel I could contribute are manifold. For quillcraft, something I read recently, We could have an activity where one of us starts with a particular line/verse of poetry from antiquity and someone fills up their own creation. I tried this out once and Invictus(the poem) turned into a sob story with my friends, this could be engaging and exciting.
   For potions, I'm always an experimental foodie. A challenge that could inspire a lot of fun among food enthusiasts would be if we were to ask them to mix up odd combinations and make a dish out of it. Examples might include, mustard on cake or icing on a sausage(I've had the latter and its delicious).
   For herbology, when we think of plant life, we tend to focusexclusively on flowers and not on weeds. Did you now, weeds(so-called) are the major egg-laying sites for butterflies? So, let's have an event where people go to their garden exclusively to click pictures of plants we call weeds.
   We could also conduct classes on various topics like Light pollution(something crucial) and other such items with regard to astronomy and a class on recent online scammingwith examples and test data) for DADA and similar items.
8. As a member of the server once very kindly said, my focus is "f-word narrower than a hypodermic needle". That is one of the primary reasons I am willing to go ahead and learn from others, because being into academia sort of always narrows your field down. It's one of the reasons I look forward to out association.

5. Defence Against the Dark Arts — For Defence Against the Dark Arts, I can teach Cyber Safety as I'm certified on Cisco and Microsoft. I can as well teach self-defence, as there are people regardless of gender I believe deserves to learn how to defend themselves despite believing they're weak due to their physique but, as well for the safety of those going online who doesn't know what to do or unaware of situations. I want to be able to protect others both online and physically.

Divination — I have been practicing witchcraft for over 10 years and I am able to teach divination: Tarot Cards (I have my own channel which is Madam Mimi.), Fire Scrying (which requires a candle/candle reading), Destiny Matrix (Complex Numbers that aligns with your destiny similar to Astrology), Zodiac Chart and So on. What I want to overcome here is peoples beliefs and doubts in their own power as I am here to teach them how to properly or even more so, improve.

Charms — I could help on advicing for Cosplay or Fashion advices as I have been running a blog for in-character blogs as I do focus on studying and experimenting on some fashion trends/aesthetics.

6. The reason I could fit these roles are already stated but, mainly its because its something I have experience in or that I am good at.

7. For Defence Against the Dark Arts, I could give case scenarios for critical thinking or display it in descriptive roleplay forum to make it interactive.

For Divination, I can teach any selected form of divination they would like me to teach and as well, I would teach them how to read their own choice of divination as an activity.

For Charms, I can give them activites like moodboards, give them themes to dress up to as a challenge, or design their own characters to incorporate their activity more.

• Artfiguration: I've been learning to draw all my life fr. So far I've focused on traditional art and I've learned loads of drawing types and painting mediums. Watercolors, sketching (graphite, charcoal, etc), acrylics, posters, etc, would be a few painting mediums. Aand some of the art styles I've tried to learn is well the normal stuff , cartooning, mandala, abstract, etc. Obviously I still have a lotlotlot to learn but gonna get there one day. 😎 I haven't really done digital art before BUT I've been trying to learn it recently, so there's that too. :D

• Given that this is the role for conducting events and all, I already have some practice in this. In my time as Imp I conducted quite a few hufflepuff exclusive events. Those went as well they could (usually) with our limited numbers, but now I'd really love to conduct events for a much larger audience.

I also generally love getting stuff started always the organizer frfr 💅 so this role would allow me to do that and bless pottercord with my amazing skills.

• this is a funsies question. I have a loooot of event ideas to annoy pottercord with so some of them would be:

For artfiguration I had quite a few event ideas but one of them was that what if pottercord users had to draw their common rooms as they imagine it? Not the common rooms in Hogwarts, but their common room in the server. It could include the people of their house, fun things that make it unique, anything really!

For charms an event idea could be, on a similar track as the previous idea, that people had to draw their friends as they imagine them. Like if somebody thinks that their friend wears a dinosaur costume while texting, they can draw that.

For quillcraft I don't have any idea per se rn :O but I definitely could think up something. And apart from the event aspect, I read many books of english and bengali so that gives me a varied perspective that may be helpful. this is a flex directed at all you monolingual ppl

Literature and writing are my passion. Last semester I took a course called “Academic Writing” so I’m more well versed there as well. I like to write poetry myself as a hobby but I have lots of experience from school and reading regarding short stories, fictional stories or other smaller writing shenanigans!
I've basically been a teacher's assistant for 10 months and occasionally taught classes by myself as well. I believe we could organise small study sessions, academic/niche games/events or maybe even something like mentorships for our very ambitious Pottercordians!

Medium - Shutterflying (& Fantastic Beasts)
I like photography as a small-ish hobby, where I’ve been able to accumulate experience but it's not really a big thing for me - which I do would like to improve and of course, photography events can also be used for Charms & Fantastic Beasts.

Challenges - Potions & Artfiguration
I had to learn basic cooking when I moved out and I’ve got a good overview over the general topic. But I’m nowhere near an expert or maybe even near a hobby cook since I moved back home. Nonetheless, my passion for food in general definitely trumps that xD I think it's an area I often avoided back when I used to be an elf since it wasn't really my area of expertise and I’m not actually a big fan of cooking(only eating lmao) but I believe that's exactly why it's a challenge I’d like to overcome since cooking and baking is something many people avoid but it can be so easy.
Artfiguration, similar with Potions, it's an area I often avoided when I used to be an elf because I don't feel that comfortable with it - I like drawing but I’m mostly shit at it XD Still, I’ve got a good basic knowledge regarding art and I think it's an area where I should be more comfortable.

At the same time I also like the prep & after work that come with organising events and I enjoy working in & with a team. I believe my previous experience as a former elf with monthly themes can be helpful as well and while it has been some time since I was one, I already have some practice too.

What are some weaknesses you feel could challenge you in this role?**My time management can always be better but I have improved a lot in the last few months since I simply had to, to be able to keep up with my exams XD But still, compared to six months ago where I couldn’t get anything done I’m actually back to keeping a regular planner. I do need to improve my ability to promote events and “influence people to participate in them” - it’s something I always struggle with. But I think e.g. preparing ways/proper phrases that you can just include in a conversation is for example something that can help me there and I think that it’s something that can be challenged and I’ll work on!

How free are you to spend quality time on the server in the next 4 months?**Uni is starting again for me which means I’m back to a regular daily rhythm and better organised free time, which means less appointments at short notice and more availability! Every action you take online leaves a trace. There are two types of footprints, an active and a passive digital footprint. We would explore both types. Active, being what you post or the emails you send. Passive, would be collected from browser data. Going into a case study of why your digital footprint matters. How can it affect your reputation both online and in real life? Is there potential for you to miss out on opportunities, mainly in a job setting, based on your social media? Considering our events run in week-long cycles, there are around 3 things I would do to conduct this.

• first few days, definition and understanding. Potentially creating a thread in DADA to send in definitions, have users send in definitions, and have some discussion between what everyone’s own interpretation is
• Secondly, a case study. Usually when I create these I pull from real life examples. Easily found in this case
• Lastly, a blatant question: what steps will you take to enhance your online privacy?

Touch Grass
During this week it wouldn’t just become a challenge for each member, but for each house! This event would be determining which house can touch the most grass through accumulating the most steps walked. In the gym channel, 4 threads will be created, one for each house, where members can send their daily steps in for the week, or even just one day! This can be done using a variety of apps on a phone or on a smartwatch. Even though discord isn’t particularly known for encouraging users to get off their phones and computers, we would prefer you to get some fresh air sometimes. Hopefully this would garner some competitive spirit through a house competition, but also yippee let’s get some exercise in.

I was part of the former Events team (Elves) for nearly two staff cycles, and have experience conducting events on the server. I have done write-ups and reports for the same as well.
For the Owls team:
I have TA'd at my school for the past year, and also managed the billing process for my father's business irl. Data management is something I am rather good at, if I do say so myself. Oh, and I can keep a secret, so you can trust me with that. I am familiar with server outreach process as well (I am a Server Partner Representative as you might have known)

7. I need to up my teamwork game, which is part of the reason I'm applying, as a way to improve myself. Another challenge I might face is time management, but I will need to deal with that whether my application is accepted or not, details in next point.

8. I start university in roughly a month or so, and I'm free for roughly all of my waking hours (8AM to 12AM IST) until then. After which, I will be able to spend any time not spent in studies/music on discord, so in the range of 6-7 hours a day, probably more.

User has found a time turner, not knowing what it was, they turned back a few dials…maybe more than once and landed somewhere unfamiliar. With someone familiar. For this event users can take a turn in time and research their culture or their origins from centuries or decades ago. They can present them with images or words, allowing a server deep dive into the different diverse cultural traditions and values we have.

I am funny. That’s it . okay joke anyways. One time in this server I was talking about reality tv show and people made fun of me for watching it cos they said it’d trash.   While the Harry Potter books explored Wizarding World nuances, we don't see much representation of other cultures. That's why, this is event is an opportunity for users to represent the cultures dear to them in the form of fashion - but with a twist. Users need to design traditional clothing and send a drawing of it; however, it also needs to be linked to the Wizarding World. Some examples can include drawing traditional clothing in their House colors!

• Quillcraft: Magical Memories
  Comprehensive as the Harry Potter storyline is, many of our favorite characters might oftel feel under represented. Hence in this event users need to choose a specific scene or event from the Harry Potter storyline (books/movies) and write a short diary entry from a chosen character's perspective that describes their thoughts and emotions centering that time.

1. Whispers from the Owlery
   Over the course of four days, five cryptic survival-guide-style messages will be “discovered” in the Hogwarts Owlery—each one bizarre, magical, and slightly unhinged. Students must interpret these instructions and write short letters to the Minister of Magic, explaining their meaning and warning of the surreal threat they believe is approaching. The goal isn't to write a letter - the goal is to sell your conspiracy theory.

  • Dada - I am quite extensively aware of online safety. Never having it compromised for myself in any way in the past, I can work to share the experience and knowledge with others.
  • Shutterflying - Having photography as a hobby, both virtual and real, I have also briefly worked professionally in the field. Therefore I am comfortable handing this class.
• Challenges
  • Artfiguration - Although I have had a hand for art and extensive interest in it, there has been quite a while since I indulged into it due to various reasons - therefore it can be a challenge.
  • Fantastic Beasts - Having owned at least 4 varieties of pets I can relate to this class, but it has been a while since I had a pet.
  • Gym - Once again, despite being a regular at gyms, it has been quite a while since I visited one due to health reasons, so this can be a challenge.

• My past experience has been with events that were significantly different in format and contents than that would apply on this server so I may struggle. But on the other hand I have been on this server for a while and participated in events here so that should help.

Dorm Room:
Aside from having a common room of our house we also have our dorm room where you share the same room yet have different beds, desks, trunks, shelves etc… So now users can freely imagine and draw what would their dorm area would look like, they can collab with other users to make it feel like a dorm with everyone having their own area and own elements!

A one month project:
Magazine:
Like the quibbler this could be a fun summertime event where users can draw and create their own cover magazine and name of the brand! They can do this in groups or solo.

• Library

A one month reading challenge, with users putting in their suggestions on what books they want to read and then it shall be voted by others what book will be decided. Afterwards every week or bi weekly there would be a poll asking how far they are in the book whether it be: "Haven't started reading"

"Currently reading chapters 1-5"

"Finished the book.”

And by the end of the month everyone will dicuss their thoughts about the book, i think it would be best to have two different threads for discussion during this read so that others can talk about it. One with spoilers discussion and the other without!

Fantastic beasts and where to find them:

We all have our different cultures meaning there is more to discover than what meets the eye. Researching a mythological creature from your culture and presenting through the user of imagery or a small or long description about it! Sharing one anothers Fantastic beasts of each culture much like how Newt Scamander discovers each fantastic Beast.

• A Bakunawa is a serpent from Philippine mythology believed to cause eclipses, earthquakes, and storms by devouring the moon

Everyone makes a beat out of anything, whether hands clapping, feet stomping, or banging some items like a spoon with another spoon! This is where users can put their creative and music imagination to the test by making beats using things found in their everyday lives! But it cant be just uploading one sound like for example you burping, make a beat out of it! Like “burp…burp burp…burp.” So that it is fun and engaging!

• Charms

Festival:
Each culture has their own festivals to represent many things whether its to celebrate our religion, culture and traditions! I want to implement a particular secular events inspired from the philippines, as the country rich with culture it has festivals celebrating certain industries. For example the Panagbenga Festival aka “Flower festival” located in Baguio city is celebrating their regions flower industry. A different example this time focusing on tradition is the T'nalak festival celebrating its making of woven cloth and lastly the Ibon Ebon festival which celebrates its migratory birds. With these examples above people can draw or make their own secular festival using any material of their choice to celebrate anything they want it to represent! Whether it be a particular leaf, a colour, etc… and can add a small description and what would some fun elements be in that festival. They can also make designs of what the people will be wearing to celebrate and even add some lore!

• Quillcraft

Continue the story:
This one is gonna be an interesting activity for those who wanna bring out their humorous spirit and also boost their creative freedom. Possibly one user starting a paragraph and now one by one they will have to continue the story and drive the plot however they want! Maybe from start the story with Harry getting through the triwizard tournament it makes a sudden turn of events with one of the users making harry turn into a mermaid! What shall the next user do next? Will they continue making harry a mermaid or will they make harry find ways to turn back into a human again.

Another long term project would be:

A newspaper:
This will be month long project that is a fusion of both artfiguration and quillcraft, in which users that can group up in pairs or more will create a page of a newspaper with designs and actual readable contents that is magical themed! And just like any newspaper they will pick what will their page feature, whether it will be a fun game or fashion, or maybe something dark like who escaped azkaban. Once all of these submissions are collected it can be formed into one readable newspaper article! (Inspired by the wizarding trunk)

• Muggle studies
  We know tons about how muggles make innovative things using technology rather than magic, but in the magical world they can also put their own twist to certain muggle items like how Mr. Arthur Weasley himself made a muggle car into a fully flying one! With bright and magical minds, users can pair up to invent a spell that can replace certain muggle technologies or enhance them and explain how does this spell make it more convenient rather than using its fully muggle made counterpart.

• Shutterflying
  Taking a photo of a view or item that has your favourite colour in it and write a small description about it.

• Herbology
  Herbology is always a fascinating topic with various muggle plants and flowers, this time we will add a magical twist. Users can merge existing muggle plants or create an entirely new one from scratch, but this wont be any ordinary plant. Its a magical plant! Users will create a name for this unique and magical plant and make a description anout its properties and quirks, perhaps going beyond by adding its potion properties and what it can be used for when making potions as well as its effects and such.

• Astronomy

Constellation:
With so many stars in the sky why not create your own constellation! Users can link the stars in the sky, make a name for their constellation and add a description about it! Add the meaning of its name, what it represents and maybe add lore!

5. I'm good with most classes, except for #⭐artfiguration and #⭐gym . I most prefer #⭐quillcraft #⭐arch-herbology #⭐dada #⭐muggle-studies , #⭐potions above all others. I like music, but it's never been much more than a hobby, so this role might make the space to expand myself. I detest going to the gym, so that might be a challenge which I'm willing to overcome.
6. I think I can be a good fit for this role for two primary reasons. Firstly, I'm naturally an inquisitive person which serves a purpose in my life. Hence, I'm always on the hunt for new ideas and thoughts. One of my personal traits is adopting unconventional approaches to conventional actions which I think makes for a good backing in the event management field. Secondly, I play when on a team. Having led several teams offline and online in quite a few successes(and failures), I find that I work best with a team to complement my own weaknesses which I shall speak about in the next point. This, I think makes me an asset for a vocation which is dependent on everyone playing their part. I'm also dedicated and hellbent on seeing things to the ultimate end, bitter as it may be.
7. I am an academic, by purpose and profession. It means that my activity on the server itself waxes and wanes with regard to the year. Hence, I feel that my activity might be challenged. Moreover, as previously mentioned, I keep a prehistoric mindset, which in itself might not be a barrier. However, I'm always open to adaptation and learning, in order to better myself.
8. I'm relatively free for the next four months. I'm nearing the end of a course of study but that terminates closer to the end of April and early May so that's good.

    It's that time of the year again, where special holiday recipes are a part of the calendar and every region has their own style of doing things. What if, we merge them up? What delicious flavours can emerge if we combine two cultures and two cuisines, creating a beautiful spin on the diversity and interconnected nature of the world. It brings about the end of the year and the way we treat the same across the world.

YEAR IN ONE
2025 is about to end. It's brought its own fair share of heartbreak, love, laughter and flair from itself. If you were to sum up 2025 in one verse, how would it be? But, there's a small twist. The event shall have a random genre. Someone might need to write a haiku, others a limerick etc. Genres can be assigned by means of our houses, or we can set up an event for one week, with different genres on different days.

THE TRAIL OF WINTER
Winter is all about the slow decay and renewal as we wait for spring. This event invites the users to go out into the biting colds, and find patterns. It may be a lone tree with snaky old branches, or even the morning dew on grass. Find a pattern, photograph it and then relate it to an item that you utilize in your daily life. Whether fallen leaves remind you of paisley cloth or broken branches of cut glass, let your imagination run wild with a singular message: Behind every pattern, nature seeks to make connection.

Quillcraft might be a bit of a challenging one for me because admittedly I'm not an amazing writer.

6. Why do you think you will be a good fit for this role?: I've enjoyed some of the events I've partcipated in before and I think it would be amazing if I were to help create some myself.

7. What are some weaknesses you feel could challenge you in this role?: I worry that sometimes I might struggle to think of anything, I can also be a bit forgetful sometimes

8. How free are you to spend quality time on the server in the next 4 months?: Very free aside from Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If I got the role I would view it as an obligation and ensure I was at least online for things concerning it

Artfiguration, astronomy, charms, fantastic beasts, herbology, library, music, quillcraft, and shutterflying would be my strengths as it is something I have personal experience and interest towards. They are also easy in a way to incorporate events in them as nearly everyone is able to do them or participate in. When it comes to the others I haven’t mentioned such as quidditch, dada, and potions as they would be something that is challenging to me due to not having any skills or any ideas to incorporate in those classrooms that require lots of thinking and time.

6. Why do you think you will be a good fit for this role?

I feel that I am fit for the role as I am capable of organizing events and also bringing up ideas that the team can use, I also love the ideas that the team themselves might suggest and could also give some feedback about either expanding on it or perhaps joining our ideas together to incorporate a more fun event for those who will participate.

7. What are some weaknesses you feel could challenge you in this role?

A minor weakness could be suggesting events or having a delay in suggesting due to forgetting or being caught up with other outside activities that I'm trying to juggle. Though thankfully those kinds of predicaments are pretty rare since I always try and ensure that I do things on time and try to not repeat mistakes I have done in the past to do better in the future.

8. How free are you to spend quality time on the server in the next 4 months?

A fair amount to be active enough in the server, aside from school hours and afterschool activities or extracurricular I take, I make sure to have time to be active in the server or use the pockets of time I have during breaks to pop in the server.

A cosmic creature #⭐artfiguration
A fun fusion of both marine and astronomy which involves creating a marine inspired animal but lives in space or is something galactical. Drawing something that could be a jellyfish powered by starlight or a whale that swims through galaxies. They can also add some lore into it which enhances the users creativity and imagination.

Reverse Storytelling #⭐quillcraft
An event where users start the story with the ending and write backwards, slowly unfolding what led to it.

11. Tell us anything special of funny about yourself

I noticed some people find it funny or interesting how formal I am when responding to certain orders or things the staff team should take note of. Rather than saying a simple “ok” or sending an emoji, I make sure to write something that confirms my understanding towards the thing they sent.

The Mandrake Team is our Events team responsible for curating interactive experiences within our community. The hobbyist wing focuses on our Classrooms section including a wide variety of talents and hobbies including art, photography, cooking, gardening, music, pet care, fashion and beauty, sports, and much more.

We are looking for creative team players, who are good at ideation, and can visualize a theme for the month and how various events they propose can fit into them. Proposed events need to be practical, and balance entertainment with usefulness in real life, helping community member hone different skills. Candidates need to be responsible, passionate for their events, contribute to the healthy communicative environment, and be good at influencing people to participate in all types of events.

5. I've been an interested contributor to almost all classroom channels at some point or another(Except #⭐gym , I hate the gym, thank you very much). I'm an author, an avid gardener, reader and passionate about music, food and knowledge. That being said, the last year has been gruelling on me and the demands of my academics have led to not being able to contribute as much as I'd like to in case of all my above hobbies. I've already taken steps to rectify that starting this year. I'm most active on #⭐quillcraft #⭐artfiguration #⭐arch-herbology #⭐arch-shutterflying and like to scroll through #⭐potions for fleur's wonderful recipes.
6. I think I'm a good fit for the role because of several reasons. I love learning new things and exploring several hobbies, that gives me a huge pool of thought and activity to pull upon when I think about events and their origin/purpose. Moreover, I can work well within a team framework and can execute tasks given to me. I also feel that the role as a whole can help me develop creative thought and become an outlet for the same.
7. I foresee a few challenges, primarily my dedication of time to the server. In most cases, I can dedicate a chunk of time to the server and the activities I'm required to carry out. However, given that I'm an academic, certain months might be difficult for the same reason. Since this cycle falls through summer and this part of the year is relatively free, this is a lesser issue. Second, I often struggle with connecting to the present-day crowd but I have been working on this, and joining the team would be a venture where I'd seek to better my learning. I have several flaws in my character and am always looking forward to rectify those when working with people.

8. I am relatively free for this part of the year, as state above. Academic activities concerning a new course might take up some time in last June, but that will be a relatively small hicccup.

Take a snapshot of such a pattern and extend it into something entirely different using your own imagination. Whether it is a leaf's veins into snowflakes or an ant's careful tracks into an F1 Racetrack, let imagination run wild in order to read between the patterns and find the interconnected beauty, often ignored.

11. Well, this part needs no major additions. I'm a jolly old overweight man who loves spending his time with weird chemicals and funny colours. I love reading, talking with random people and I believe, stripping as well(Computers and chemical bottles ONLY). I love getting to know new people, getting to learn new things and most of all, well, stripping(Again, computers and chemical bottles ONLY).

6. Why do you think you will be a good fit for this role? I think I could be a good fit for this role because I know how to work with others and have been a part of the voice Mandrake/Elf team for a couple cycles now and have been an Imp in the past on here.

A few activities that come to mind that I could possibly contribute are pick a song and share some info about it and what drew you to it , internet safety 101: don't believe everything people tell you/you see on the internet ; happy to brainstorm more ideas as well! (My brain is literally not working right now bc too many projects )
8. What are some weaknesses you feel could challenge you in this role? Some weaknesses that might challenge me in this role could possibly be keeping up with planning things and working to promote things more in the server to encourage participation. Time management is something I've struggled with for a while as well but I am slowly getting better at it.
9. How free are you to spend quality time on the server in the next 4 months? It may vary as I am a full time student currently and spring final exams are around the corner. I graduate in May however so my time is going to be a bit wonky for a while since I have to sort out being an actual adult and all that.

11. Anything special about you: I'm a huge theatre nerd as well as a nerd for quite a few other subjects (ex. Greek Mythology) and was minoring in History! Im a huge fan of spooky season and enjoy causing a bit of chaos when time allows. I also seem to constantly get bruised doing theatre work sooo there's that 🎭

• I usually checkout all the channels so often. But I think I am able to take responsibility of #⭐artfiguration #⭐arch-herbology and #⭐muggle-studies . As these were my main focus channel in last cycle too. But I would love to explore other classes like #⭐quidditch #⭐charms and #⭐arch-shutterflying too. I would love to learn new experiences and knowledge exploring these classrooms.I basically love the idea of events and with all my knowledge and experiences I have gathered , I think I can contribute more to this community by helping in the creation of events and classrooms activity.
