"Pronouns in profile" role

i use one more pronoun set apart from the available ones and can't really choose "ask for pronouns" cuz if they are in the space for pronouns on profile there is no need for anyone to ask, just check profile

could be "pronouns in bio" to make it shorter but the pronouns space isnt really bio but a different part of profile

I've seen people use multiple pronouns in the pronoun space, so you can try that too. Like "they/them,she/her"

i have them in my pronouns space i mean a role for the server that specifies ur pronouns can be read in profile

Since you have all your pronouns in your profile, what do you want an additional role for?

a role that lets ppl know to check ur profile instead of asking

But aren’t the default pronouns higher than the roles in channels?

yeah but lots of ppl put other stuff in there so some wont rlly bother to read them and just go off the chosen roles

even in this thread im the only one who has pronouns in the pronouns space

Not all people have their gender in their profile.

gender is different from pronouns too i dont think many people put that in there

the role would make sure that people who see that role read the pronouns that are on your profile instead of only going off the available pronoun roles

By the time someone can view your pronouns role they have already seen your pronouns space, as the latter is earlier on the profile panel. I don't see any reason to add such a role.

ive also addressed that here, they have a smaller and darker font, a lot of people skip them automatically

The thing is, the possibility of finding out your pronouns by asking you is 100%, while looking at your profile is not.

Hence the name of the role itself.

I think the fact discord has created a space for pronouns within profiles makes roles redundant as is. We only have ours left as legacy and as a rough indicator of what our distribution looks like. I don't think we will be adding a new role for this. If they don't know where to look for pronouns that's more an education issue of how to use Discord than a server issue.

yes, that is what the role is for. people might not look at the profile unless they see you have a role asking you to
