#Big News About China Edition

For small developers, you can license your work to Chinese players or teams to earn some extra income. For larger creators, such as the creators of Actions & Stuff (whose content has already been released on the China Edition and has sold over 100,000 copies), the official China Edition team will usually reach out to discuss bringing and selling your content on the China Edition marketplace.
In the past, because Minecraft China Edition did not support the Script API, porting some Bedrock addons to China Edition was relatively difficult, which unintentionally reduced addon theft to some extent. Now that Script API support is being added, there are concerns that it could lead to a new wave of people scraping and reposting addons from MCPEDL for profit.
Talented developers from the China Edition might be able to create add-ons using Script API only, which would allow their work to be compatible with both platforms — publishable on the China Edition marketplace as well as on MCPEDL or CurseForge.
