Sup. I have a fairly common problem with custom block shading.
In the screenshot from the stairs, you can see custom stairs where the light is not working properly.
In the screenshot of the wall, you can see custom sand bricks (they are made through blocks.json), and they have the right lighting, while the sand arch is through material instances.
Can you tell me if we should expect to fix these problems in the near future? I can't afford to roll back everything to 1.21.60 for the sake of using the blocks.json method.

Unfortunately, my best solution to this problem was to make custom versions of the vanilla blocks so at least the light levels matched.
