#Vanilla Fence Template

This is a custom fence template; I included the geometry file along with the block.json file.

It has all the correct connections, custom collisions/selections, waterlogging, icon in hand/inventory, leashable, etc.

I found 3 issues which I showed in the images:

  1. Waterlogging a fence in certain state/s culls water and makes it look strange.
  2. Darkness occurs towards the bottom of the fences. I tried to fix this but could not find anything that worked (Yes, the model is all within 16x16x16).
  3. You'll notice in the picture that the fence post itself is fine, but the two bones connecting to the other post don't have their UV set correctly. I would have changed it myself, but unfortunately, I have never messed with UVs before.

Everything else is perfect and has been tested thoroughly.

I remember you asking about a template to put up on bedrock dev for the fences, I came up with this. The entire thing works perfectly, only 3 issues. The UV issue I'm sure is easy enough, however the other 2, though pretty small issues, I don't have any clues on how to fix.

Thank you very much for your Geo and JSON models, my skills were not able to have the right shape in the inventory and did not work at Vanilla despite the fact that I had made a script file for the connectors. This helped me enormously

Apparently for anyone wondering, the water glitches out when in this specific collision with 16 across, however setting it to 15.999 fixes it lol

for some reason the game fails to register block states of the fences and breaks multiplayer

so if the component was omitted do you think it would work properly for syncing block data between server and client?

oddly enough deleting "use_beta_features" still allows the block to work like it should. i was messing with the json file of this template and removed it from my code and the blocks still work in game just as they are shown in the template.
