I like that the nether update actually all feels like it's based on what the nether already had
There isn't a feature that feels out of place.
Plus all the balancing is done well.

There would be so many use cases.. mainly outside of addons
Some would simply be player stats, waypoints, etc.
Leaderboards would be a main one
Where you might want to include their current earned xp for an event on said leaderboard or whatever

pretty sure the grow stages of horses and donkeys are written to be gone
itโll supposedly just go from baby to adult stage, no in between
donโt even get me started on the fun bugs being fixed
idk if it was mentioned officially but i think the grow stage of horses being removed has a reason
you can only tell if the horse is fully grown up by feeding them and seeing if theyre in 'fed' state or by manually attempting to ride after every single feed
which can be inconvenient

in my experience i find jumping from baby to adult stage more intuitive

Starting with this update, will custom component of item only work in format version 1.26.0+?
I tried using versions 1.21.130 to 1.21.90, which was the minimum version for custom component v2, but it generated an error. When I used version 1.26.0, it worked.
This is only happening with items; it has worked with blocks since format version 1.21.90.

are all json files supported for 1.26.0+? i never actually tested it. like if i change every file in my packs to be of format version 1.26.0 will something end up failing?
It depends on the version it's currently running; if there have been any changes, it could cause problems.

there are loads of files that only have a few valid format versions like texture sets which can only be 1.16.100 or 1.21.30

i mean, both types are needed. Bedrock is not in a good state at the moment and attention does need to be brought to that.

I really hate what they're doing with the UIs, they come up with a great design and then ruin it e.g. by removing the world templates button that was in the play screen prototypes
there's a lot of bugs that go unfixed for too long. There's overall UI issues now with the randomly added padding. The marketplace has its own list of problems from the UI not working to the content quality to the minecoin system issues that toycat talks about.
yeah, i hate that big ad that you get instead. If it at least defaulted to "content you own" it'd maybe be a little excusable but no, they want it to be shoving the marketplace in your face so it defaults to the one that means you spend more money.
and the problem is these issues with bedrock just aren't talked about enough, which might lead to Mojang thinking "they're not that important to fix, let's add another marketplace button"
when Java players have even a small change they dislike, you can be sure Mojang will be hearing about it non-stop for months.
imo bedrock getting new ui-s is just like: 50% good ui 50% bad ui
I don't like Ore UI because it means they get to shove more ads in your face without you being able to disable them with a resource pack.
and it seems like the customizable UI will be the gameplay ones, not the menus that have the ads.
In theory you could mod it out by modifying the ore ui files

It's not good for any game for people to just accept every change even if it's clearly one that hurts the experience.
i belive they will make menu ones customaisable (probaly copium), but they probaly want to test ddui out with gameplay screens before due to these being less complex
hopefully, but after the "Browse Add-Ons!" situation i feel like they get less benefit of the doubt.
I hope they at least implement ddui's scaling and text rendering to other screens since the scaling on out of game screens is quite bad currently

I would say the pause screen one is pretty intrusive as well being that itโs a dark pattern and making a actually useful button smaller then the useless one
