Would be cool if you somehow made it a command block type that you can select in the command blocks

That would be cool and I would have went that route if it were possible. Those ui's are not editable right now.

Do you use runJob to execute all the commands in the same interval so there won't multiple intervals/instances being created, rather its just one interval / job running for all custom commands blocks?

But yes, I really love this idea and fully support it!
