im kinda new to json ui and i found a great example in #1072983602821861426 and i was trying to reverse engineer it a bit and make it kinda a custom /title command instead

i thought by removing the test_panel which is in charge of stacking and altering root panel it would remove the stacking but it didnt and gave some weird results

can someone help me remove stack panel and kinda explain how to do it and why it works?

im tryna get this issue fixed and learn more at the same time

The stacking happens because the factory that generates the elements is inside a stack_panel

Change it to a regular panel if you don't want stacking

That's because the chat factory doesn't override the previous content
If you want it to override put "max_children_size": 1 inside the factory

max_children_size will limit the generated content of the factory to 1
so when a new content needs to be generated it'll override the previous one

#

you have to put it inside "factory": { }
