web devs constantly have to update their knowledge with self-driven learning. like, I did computer science but we were taught hardly any industry languages because we were told they changed a lot and that was up to us to keep up with them. the skill is in keeping up, it gets easier with learning more languages.

the best way to learn is just getting started, getting your hands dirty, and web searching a lot. some people use AI tools as well. once you've gotten past the basics and can't always find what you need, you can start asking more in-depth questions in forums etc. I never really did javascript/typescript beyond browser basics before so I'm looking at examples of more advanced syntax at the moment.
