#How to register custom levelSoundEvents?

Neither 'individual_named_sounds' and 'individual_event_sounds' (in ~/sounds.json) allow me to register custom levelSoundEvents (as in ones playable via particle events), how do I do this?

Naturally, as in the particle is being spawned by the game (for a crit in this case)

It might not be possible as I know a lot of components only suppoirt vanilla sounds.
