JSON so you can see ambient occlusion is set to false + it is not caused by face dimming
AFAIK It has something to do regarding with a plane going into another block in which causes it to go dark similar to how when a entity is suffocating because of the block above it its texture flickers black or turns black.
Yeah, that's what is causing this, I don't think there is a fix but it's worth asking here
@brisk pelican don’t use alpha test
But you would have to make a custom block with different bones so the texture doesn’t mess up
So if you put it to opaque the transparency will be black so make the flowers using bones and put you texture on top of that and change it to opaque see if that does owt
