I wanna have a block that I can add additional layers to as I place more of them down on top of it, and have the size / collision change as they're placed. How would I even do this?

Hiya @wheat eagle this was so what i was looking for.. just seems that the trap door maybe others.. it installs correctly activates has no errors and shows in catalog but does not work like a trap door so of course you cant place vertically anywhere 😦 id love to see this work! 🙂

It seems that your template is outdated, it doesn't work, it puts the block but it can't accumulate like the snow layer in vanilla minecraft, that means your template is outdated
I'm on the latest official version, 1.21.62, and I also activated all the experimental options.
