Hello! Help plz, how can I make a block that when placed it also generates another one on top of it?? Like doors do? I wanna make an iron cage of two blocks high but idk how to make it work.

And another one is, how can I make connectable blocks?? Like a table with a single block where the legs of it move to the new corners if I add more table blocks next to them??

For the firt question i suggest you to use scripts. For the second question, i know that you have to use block permutations, but I'm not good to use them.
