#Fix for item specific speeds
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Is there an example of using a say, stick for example?
oh yeah true, this method only works if the item being used to destroy the block is included inside the minecraft:is_(tool)_item_destructible tag and/or minecraft:(material)_tier_destructible tag (these tags should be included in the block file)
so no, it won't work with sticks
Then it probably isn't fixing the bug. The "issue" is that the speeds work. However since the block doesn't have the proper tool tags, it applies a 2.5x multiplier on every item.
Im not sure how to name the post then, it fixes this issue with tools that 0.1s before the set destroy speed it goes back to 0.0s
I mean it is a visual fix if anything. Which was really bugging me
At 1.21.50 (or .40) this was already fixed. I had a similar problem a couple of versions ago, but now it no longer exists (although it may depend on the format of the block version)
all mine are updated to 50 and it still happens
What format version does the block have?
hmmmm
You have some problem with your addon that is causing it to not work. or there is something wrong with your code.
What was your block json code exactly?
It would benefit if you provided examples that show it got fixed.
Minecraft is laughing at me. I installed the addon in another world and it stopped working... Although I remember for sure that it worked. Sorry for the misinformation
You won't believe it. After some time, I re-entered the world and it started working...
