overdetailed, like this depth
i think it needs more details
It looks like a clan castle
I was thinking the same thing 😭
Should simplify it if you're trying to go for a vanilla style thing
Vanilla style cannot show good detail. It's basic at best.
I'd say a form of metal casing with a mixture of stone for the textures
Given what it's function will be making the textures look tempered would be best
New model & { texture } ← not finished yet
@royal grove @mental kettle
went from 104 cubes to 46
Nice
Honestly this looks pretty good on its own. Though, I personally prefer a bit less geo. But that also depends on the overall style you're going for with your pack! ^^
a texture remake
which one d u prefer?
this looks better I think!
I would recommend experimenting with blackstone like texture for the darker portion up top (not the iron bars and side)
this is the recipe, for now only.
Ah
Then your current texture makes sense. For me the first texture that comes to mind when someone says "Forge" is blackstone and anvil
hmmm,
should i use oil as a fuel? or just some coals?
for the basic tier, i should use basic things
coal sounds best imo
Well duh, vanilla style is not meant to show extreme detail. Its all about the texture
Well given the complexity of the model pretty sure it's not meant to be vanilla based
I agree
