Like, your own music disk, or your own background music? Custom music disks are finicky and require workarounds. Editing the music that plays in the background is easier though. Just add your sound files to the resource pack, create a definition in sound_definitions.json for it, then modify music_definitions.json to play the custom sound

in sound definitions u modify, for example, desert biome music (u should be able to find lines of code for desert biome music), u just add ur own soundtrack to the list of soundtracks which there r rn. u can also modify weight of the soundtrack u r adding

It's been a while since this post was active, but would it be possible to only make the music play with a command? It's essential that it doesn't just become a part of the normal cue.
I know the actual music command btw, just not how the music files work.
I don't kmow sadly, I haven't messed with music much.

Can I make it play globally?
Because I've noticed with sounds they usually fade out over a really small distance
