how dose this wall work?
can't the player just dig or climb around it?

They can't dig, as the blocks below are all unbreakable. They can climb over, but without completing the quest to deactivate the shield, they'll just get teleported back out 🙂

Um so about two years ago and change I started teaching myself, and then this version has been worked on about a year in total. The map took ages and ages - tried to farm it out to freelancers, but the quality was never right.

If it hadn't been for that I'd have finished in maybe October 🙂

The map is very carefully designed with a lot of unbreakable stuff, but there are places I don't mind if players want to cheat - or try to lol.
There's one particular thing that I've deliberately let players skip, but I won't say what it is.

If players try to leave the city, outside certain coordinates they just teleport back to the start

Unless they complete the main quest of course

idk why but the screenshots give me the vibe of the aether mod.
is there is any bosses?

Never played Aether but aware of it 🙂 There's one Easter egg about it actually.

Vibe I was going for was more Laputa/Breath of the Wild.

There are three bosses, two of which have optional variants

The Crawler is much bigger than you'd think, and carries four turrets

Wyrm and Colossus are other bosses

I'm probably going to add two unique hidden ones too

They're pretty easy, just need to give myself two spare evenings over Easter 🙂

Um, guess the lancer and infested golem are both sort of minibosses too

Was thinking about making the colossal smith into an optional boss, but it's not currently set up that way

Aaaand there's a High Witch NPC that could also be a boss if I could be bothered 😅😅😅

Wow, the models are phenomenal. It's almost like a full-blown game at this point
