#Eacrian Soul Reaper (This took me 2 Weeks)

This took 2 weeks..?
They're still faster than the actual minecraft dev team XD
Still have no idea how that took 2 weeks to develope
I assume at least a week and a half was coming up with the idea
the idea does kinda look generated by ai though so many not
it looks relatively easy to make as well to shame to the creator but 2 weeks for this?
I wouldn't say they should feel shame for the time taken, maybe he's just new to developing addons
idk ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Dam yall mean😂
I’m still fairly new to development. I had to learn a lot about how behavior and resource pack animations work, then how to use different movement types and script api then I get my idea called ai generated 😞
that wasn't me but I underdtand why someone would say that
I guess we're just confused on why it took so long
for it being not a complex idea
Jeez people
If they started working on it from zero
It's totally understandable
Like obviously it wouldn't take long for someone who's made a couple of add-ons already
But on your first try
There's so much to test, probe, try out, etc
It took me a while and a lot of help to make a simple mob with an attack animation years ago, too - it's normal when picking up a new workflow
maybe a few years ago thats understandable but with all the tools we have now?
the only reason I see it taking 2 weeks for a singular item is the model and texture
Well, you'd have to find out where all the tools are and how to use them first; It takes time to learn.
Sure you might know of a tool that creates an add-on like that in a few clicks, but a beginner a) wouldn't know one b) would likely still need some time to figure it out c) probably want to figure out the workings of add-ons on a 'simple' idea like that first, without using auto generation
Model and texture are definitely part of it too, yeah
