Ender Pearl Cooldown

Im trying to increase the cooldown for enderpearls, but I'm not sure how. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

There is no direct way to do it, you cannot modify that item, perhaps it could be done with a script or with other complicated methods

you can try overwriting the vanilla ender pearl and increase minecraft:cooldown

but dont expect it to work well

oh yeah, that's a good way, I would just need a way to replace the item and that's easier to do

There is no data on the ender pearl as an item, but you can create the item that fires the enderpearl projectile

I guess I would have to make a /replaceitem to change the original beads for the new ones.
