wdym by flattening btw?
Do you mean like
minecraft:double_stone_block_slab4 to be labelled as its actual block?
Like with how they did with wood and wool?
Yes
ahh ok, ye, I know a few more if you want me to send
Sure
minecraft:sandstoneminecraft:red_sandstoneminecraft:quartz_block
Updated, thank you.
minecraft:wood
Those were updated yesterday.
Yes
oki
minecraft:leaves
minecrat:leaves2
weirdly there is 2 different leaves values
minecraft:bed
Probably mc:leaves are the oak, birch and spruce leaves, mc:leaves2 are the newer leaves, acacia, dark oak, jungle etc
ye, it looks like it
If im not wrong, the azalea and cherry leaves have proper separated identifiers
yep
the newer ones like mangrove, cherry, azalea, etc from 1.16+ all have their one ones
Just some older stuff need an overdue catching up
Thanks god theyre updating these old id problems
ye
they
oops
They're only flattening out blocks, right?
or is that all this post was for
I'm not even sure if they're doing items. This was kinda just for blocks.
apparently red sand is in minecraft:sand???
minecraft:anvil too
Oh? That seems so perfect for a state.
Saplings and coral fans wiped out.
minecraft:prismarine
Nice catch. Added.
Updated.
Removed tall grass
Goodbye, minecraft:double_plant. We hated you. Just missing hanging coral fans from that set.
Thanks
Removed monster_egg, stonebrick, double_stone_block_slab, stone_block_slab2, and stone_block_slab3
Actually, I think I'll clean this up.

Also need to be flattened:
spongecauldronanvilseagrass
I think the anvil, cauldron, and sponge ones are interesting. Is it not fair to call those "states"? Are you basing this off what Java Edition does?
(I'll add them if you think it's appropriate.)
Also, I wasn't aware of seagrass even doing that, whoops. Thanks.
They're separate items with different names, so using block states is inappropriate. Same exact thing as dirt or sand
Cauldron doesn't have separate items, but each variant has different possible fill levels, so many permutations are unused and wasteful (and yes it's what Java does)
Almost there!
Dirt needs to be flattened into:
dirtcoarse_dirt
and rooted dirt is called dirt_with_roots
Does this list reflects preview or stable?
minecraft:quartz_block got flattened into:
minecraft:quartz_block
minecraft:chiseled_quartz_block
minecraft:smooth_quartz
minecraft:quartz_pillar
Fixed
both I believe
Preview
I guess you need to include bee hives/nests to this list as well
Are these fixed in the previews
Do they do this on Java?
No clue, I just thought that if anvils are getting this treatment it would make sense for beehives to as well
I haven't updated my Java in over 2 years
Java does not use separate blocks for different bee hive fill levels. They added a special component that can persist select states to the item stack especially for this
I thought it was made using nbt data
From today's preview
minecraft:cobblestone_wall
minecraft:purpur_block
