As far as I know it's impossible to make custom hitboxes beyond editing a rectangle, so making perfect stairs is impossible

I made the staircase from a test addon but it turned out well because they have not been joined and I installed the example addon of a chamo and the stairs were joined sideways

It is not a vanilla staircase, it is a staircase from my addon of new types of wood, starting with aspen, it looks a little like the color, a little bit of birch but a little more golden.

Im not an expert but joining stairs together is like a fence joining together so maybe if you take the component that make the fence join and put it in the stair it might work
