So what makes this one different from all the others that exist?
which other ones are there? this is a story driven server with quests and multiple regions basically like the games, but there is also a survival gamemode
it's also cross compatible with java since that was the original release that has been out for roughly 6 years
The other pokemon servers/addons for bedrock. There are like 4 or 5 others.
Some of the More notable ones are Pokedrock, PokeBedrock and PokéUnderground
we have gen 1-5 currently, with shinies and also a lot of custom forms that are not present in the game, as I said previously quests, a huge story for the latest region, gyms, most features from the pokemon games, before the bedrock release (which is coming soon) the server averages 400 players
So its a Java mod not really a bedrock mod
it is java and bedrock now
How exactly do you handle the difference in controls for how Java works compared to bedrock don't majority of Java Mods rely on the use of keyboard for multiple functions
there are no mods, it's all vanilla texture pack based
You have Pokémon but no mod.... that makes 0 sense
There has to be a mod applied to the server to add all the Pokémon and such along with the functionality
that's the server, the server handles all the entities, battles, functionalities basically
you just log in, apply the pack and play
Ok and again with the server how does it handle the difference in controls from Java to bedrock. Majority of Pixelmon servers for Java use multiple keyboard buttons to perform different actions. Has properly functionality of all features been properly tested and made available across the varying platforms.
How well will the server work for MCPE players
I'm not really sure what you are currently asking here, the menus on java are chest gui based, the ones on bedrock are form based, what other controls are you talking about?
I'm talking about actual controls to perform the various things like catching and sending out Pokémon things of that nature
Almost all Java Pixelmon mods use different buttons on the keyboard to perform those said actions
this has no mods as I already said
Omg whatever dude you are not understanding
you can just join with java if you wanna understand how it works
I don't think you know what a mod is tbh
resource packs are not mods
You have to modify the game to add them
Hence a mod
Resource packs are textures not mechanics and functionalities
whatever modifies the gameplay on the server is called a plugin, since it's not modifiying the client and using server provided apis, a mod is something that modifies code for purposes not designed by the original developers
A plugin is still a modification of the vanilla game.
So henceforth can still be classified as a mod
Your adding something outside of the vanilla game
there is a very good distinction between mod and plugin and I am not sure why you are spamming this thread to try and convince me otherwise
I'm not spamming simply asking question
That you can't seem to give answers to so I'll go about my day and forget about this
I cannot answer something I don't understand, everything is using vanilla capabilities, you throw a pokemon by just right clicking on it and you retrieve it by doing the same, the game interactions with the menus are like any other server, the scoreboard is there, you are the one that keeps asking the same question tbh and it would be simpler to just join the server and try it out yourself if you don't understand my explenation
