#Enforce Conventions?

Should we enforce conventions on the packs? Some things include:

  • File extensions
  • Molang shorthand (like v instead of variable)
  • Event and property names
  • Sub-folder organization
  • Snake or camel casing

But we likely all have pretty different styles of things. Should we just let this community add-on be… whatever goes?

I don’t think v vs variable matters that much. Subfolders would be nice though.

But for that, I think if someone starts doing it, others will follow suit to keep things consistent. It’s not like everyone wants to make things confusing for themselves.

I don't know about forcing people to change their style within files that won't be accessed by others. Would be different if that were the case.

But organization is good. In folders that make sense... or in your branch names, so we know who gave what within the addon. I don't think there is much that can't be done this way... besides lang and blocks.json, etc....
