Using a preview build of Minecraft and Bedrock Dedicate Server, you can launch a dedicated server using an editor project and then connect to it. This allows for multi-user remote editing scenarios.
Yes. Currently, there's no way to get BDS to create an editor project - so you need to create an Editor Project using the stand alone Preview Minecraft, and copy the folder from your com.mojang/worlds folder into the worlds folder where you launched BDS.
Remember to change the level name in the properties file (and if your world ends with an = (equals) sign - rename it)

For short story: Bedrock (or Pocket) did originally have Java grass generation, but somewhere along the changes, the grass generated less, probably during the move towards addons and data-driven world generation.
I always thought Bedrock/Pocket always had less grass generation since they implemented infinite terrain in 0.9.0, for performance reasons at the time

Was wrong about this. I tracked down the bug in older versions using the Bedrock Launcher and found approximately when the bug started occurring. In version 0.14.2, the grass generation was like Java's, but in version 0.15.4 the grass generation was looking like how it does today. From the internet I've heard the issue started occurring in version 0.15.0
Left side - 0.14.2
Right side - 0.15.4
i already knew it was a bug. but i didn't really track it down of which bug it was lol
also, is it just me who feels the color shades of the grass block feels different in these two pictures. I guess the color of the grass block also got changed either way
