Quick question for anyone who has experience with entities, this tank often lags right before it shoots
Anyone know why it does that?
I have a mob that does that as well, might be cause of the size? Probably not as im just guessing, my mob is quite big
sure u didnt add camera shake?
size does not matter, its the amount of cubes being rendered
but if it only lags right before it shoots i dont think its an issue with your model itself more like the code which gets executed in that moment
I tested it recently with Titanfall Titans (2.5x5 blocks hitbox): Pathfinding of mobs with too big sized hitbox causes huge frame drops. This is also a problem Mojang mentioned in relation to the big sniffer.
If you look into vanilla Minecraft, all the big entites fly.
