#Translucent Attachables and items

What material are you using for the attachable?
Hey, not sure if this helps but I made a slime add-on before. You can edit the textures themselves to make them look translucent, like see through.
You can do this using GIMP, not paint
I've tried a bunch, but not all. Wouldn't be able to list them though 😅
I thought of that solution, though no idea how I'd go about it, may you send through an example? I'm using custom honey & slime items with json components & block placer such that they can place and break them in adventure mode without allow blocks.
Using a empty png doesn't work?
Do you have GIMP? If not, download it and open it. You can retexture using that, there should be tutorials online on what you can use, tho the bucket tool is what you'll mostly use
I use paint.NET which shouldn't be a problem. I was mainly just wondering on how close to vanilla you'd get it and what the final product would look like. May you send an example through?
I already have textures, they just don't display w/ translucency - i.e. see through but not completely. This is the current png for it, though what you end up seeing is fully opaque.
try entity_alphablend if you haven't already
should've tried it will double check
