#FAQ fix for loot
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Seems like ? nbt should point to NBT and ? loot should point to loot tables. As it is, I have to put an underscore to get it.
Surely you just need to ask for the <@&739985629731094568> role so that you can update it, since this is an obvious change to make.
give me link
There is a role to let people update that?
Yeah
I mean that yhou can self-assign
i can do it for you
Normal users can't self assign it, no.
It's manually handed out.
If Mod permissions haven't changed since the old days, you should be able to give it to yourself though.
Link?
?loot
?loot
?nbt
So what should nbt change to
hmmm studio and commands 2 diff things
?loot
okay
@grim pagoda do you still want the faq management role?

While we're at it, there's a change I'd like to propose for another, but can't do it myself since Iost my roles when I left.
shit
wasn't meant to reply
Aight Dw should have the fag role
Thanks Sean...
I'll learn how to use it later today.... you know I have an organization OCD... can I add obvious missing stuff?
?runtime
"I added a runtime identier to my entity, and now it has weird behavior".
Runtime Identifiers add hard coded behavior to entities. This hard coded information often includes things like entity name, health, or drop table.
"Can I do anything about it?"
You can remove the runtime identifier. That's the only thing you can do. Don't expect to use runtime identifiers without consequences.
This could be rewritten to actually explain what a runtime ID is, then onto it's typical usage and whatnot, along with linking to the Wiki page we have on them.
Do you wanna do it?
Sure thing.
I'll get to it later, I probably shouldn't even be here at them moment, got a load of things to be doing.
Commands haven't changed, have they Sean?
Only execute
oop. Yeah I know about the new execute . . . I had meant, uhm, you know, the FAQ Bot commands for editing and whatnot.
Oh haha, using / cmds is preffered
oh right, so we've moved away from the ! prefix. Alright, thanks.
?rc
Take a look at these examples and this Wikipedia page:

?render controller
Render-controllers are logic packs that take short-name definitions from the Resource Entity File, and determine how they will be combined/layered/rendered in-game.

Why is this even an faq?
something to do with scoreboard stuff apparently.
That's actually really useful. Plenty of places where people would want this.
It's neat but it really should not link to an old message
yeah but RC is more for render controller so-
Reacon it'd be better off putting the content of the message into the faq, Sprunkles?
The bot uses a fuzzy search algorithm, so it attempts to make a guess on the output based on what was given. 'rc' shows up in the phrase "search tree"
Yeah
Does the render controller FAQ have the explicit tag "RC"?
I've tried adding the tag just now, but it still results in the Binary Search faq being given.
It could just be cached or something
This was an accident in #off-topic and hilarious at the same time
