This one is pretty self explanatory, i’ve received two DM’s from people in the server that don’t really have anything to do with it. The increase in people with hacked accounts coming in also would limit that by making them have required 2FA, meaning their account is more secure and less likely to have been hacked.

No you can disable DMs from a server
But you can block people if you want to

Mod actions on community servers require 2FA though.

Not everyone has a phone, especially kids. There have been plenty of people on my discord who I've had to bypass my security in via role change because of that. Which means more work for mods.. and don't think they want that.
Also for DMs, you can turn-on to where you have to accept a new DM requests, so no automatic messages from strangers.

^^^ Please don't do this, it seems like a good idea but because not many people have phones and many people are poor they can't afford it.
Heck, I grew up without a phone until I was 16 because we were dirt poor for many years of my life.
I see many people being in the same boat.
