Encryption is not available to creators. This only exists for Marketplace products and is also employed by servers.

Also, encrypting your Add-On won't make other people happy as you're preventing customization and them learning new things.

Same, I'm against encrypting addons as it just stifles innovation

That and most encryption is done like the link above so it's less encryption and more of an annoyance
