Bad is up for interpretation. The story of Alien Stage is that all of these humans are basically enslaved to the aliens and are made to compete in a singing competition for their lives. Luka was made in a lab for the sole purpose of being a great performer, and as such, he has won multiple of these competitions. On stage, he is shown specifically targeting his opponents’ trauma for the sake of making them perform worse

But he’s also obviously a victim of the aliens who made him. He has those diseases because he’s essentially artificial, and they’re also responsible for not teaching him how to properly interact with other humans. He essentially has to manipulate to survive and doesn’t have the same empathy as other people, so there’s no reason why he wouldn’t do so
