You really should, It's not hard to work on improving your code quality, It helps alot with readability for whenever you go back to stuff, and tends to teach you new skills and better ways to tackle problems anyways

Even if you aren't planning on getting a job or doing anything serious I always highly recommend anyone to always be working on your code quality and to learn even the basics of team collaboration

plus it's always good to have a backup plan for your career incase things go south
