It's kinda repetitive after a while, the culture seems to have a lot of traits but at the same time it really doesn't, since most of them are only related to certain species and having to raise my hand to simply have them place their structures in a different way can be a chore

Since each species only has a really miniscule amount of culture it starts to feel less like culture because there's barely any variety amongst the species themself

Maybe you could slowly replace it if you give the existing culture Xenophile and make some units with the new culture join the kingdom, kill or wait for the units with the old culture to die and make sure that the units with the new one have a lot of babies, eventually, maaaybe the new culture will be established as the kingdom's culture when there are no units alive with the old one.

Or you could just edit all the traits you don't like and transform the kingdom's culture into the one you want

Well the rite of ascension apparently requires the evil trait, which units can only get if they naturally spawn with it, or if they're really really old. I guess you could give a king immortality by striking it with lightning though.
Still, it's really convoluted.
