Easiest way I’ve found is to just spawn some in a biome where they need a trait to settle separately from the original group as the resistance trait creates a new subspecies

Changing two stats just makes changes to the current subspecies and doesn’t create a new one

It would only convert the people in the royal clan but you can always spawn more after that or give them a boost in reproduction with certain traits

Well, the sand spiders did what I expected

I spawn them in and place more at the outer ends of the lines they leave behind, before connecting the edges when I feel like the landmass is big enough and see what I get
