Hey man. Now it's 2023. The WorldBox has finally ushered in an unprecedented update after such a long time.
The players "Mengso(梦梭)" and "Ah Liang(阿良)" made this map from 1936. There are corresponding kingdoms, corresponding maps. Since there were no factions in the game at the time, it was not in the map.
Because it is a map made in version 0.14, the current version makes it have a lot of problems, for example: it is all named with Chinese, and some cities are damaged (This is due to a bug). But with permission, I share this map with you.
Trust me, as soon as you open it, this 55*24 super map will make all problems disappear.

780 million years ago, dinosaurs and phoenix's were extinct from the continent by demons, leaving only dragons, who fled to lands in the middle of the continent and several islands.

490 million years ago, the two species of demons met and began to battle, threatening life and fauna on the continent.

240 million years ago a large colossal earthquake reached the continent of Vikia, causing the death of millions of animals, also weakening the demons, who retreated to smaller lands,

`Westeros is a continent located in the far west of the known world. It is separated from the continent of Essos by a strip of water known as the Narrow Sea. Most of the action in Game of Thrones takes place in Westeros.

Author of the series George R.R. Martin has stated that Westeros is based on medieval Britain, but as a full-sized continent that is roughly the same size as real-life South America.

Historically, most of Westeros used to be divided into seven different kingdoms, including all lands south of The Wall in the distant north. After the Targaryen Conquest, the kingdoms were all unified into one realm, but the common name persisted: the title of the monarch on the Iron Throne was "Lord of the Seven Kingdoms". The two names are often used interchangeably, though the lands Beyond the Wall were never actually part of the "seven kingdoms".

Previously, you could post maps individually (one post per mod), but a new rule has been implemented. All maps made by a single creator must be in a single map pack, with a single post, unless the packs differ in theming (ex. you have a pack themed around Continents and another around Islands).

This map represents the (rough) borders and zones of control in Europe, North Africa, and parts of the Middle East in 1066. Features the fractured counties of France, Duchies in the Kievan Rus, Kingdoms within the Holy Roman Empire, and so much more.

Hello guys! this is my first map posted on cool maps

the map have a size of 28x18
and a total of 8 planets and 4 moons (btw each planet landmass is the size of a large size map aprox).

Each planet difficulty gets worse the closer you get too the center of the solar system like the moons of each starting planet are hostile places to live but at the same time these difficulties are rewarded with valuable resources specialy hell and colddonut these planets are inhabited by cold ones and demons, but at the same time plentiful of valuable resources like mythril and adamantine.

each corner planet are supposed to be the starting planets to each race giving them the most suited biomes for each race exept orcs (gave them some disadvantages like cursed biomes and acid volcanoes).

In the year 200 the political situation in northwestern Seinhalia had moved in the side of the Allied Kingdoms (AK) after years of influencing a once United Leauge (UL) country Concordia it fell to a popular revolution and they elected a king to rule
In the year 230 the tension had descilated and the region stableized though there is still much worry from the people of the region of an eventual war between the AK and UL.

The final straw the UL had declared the Pyrian Anexsation of the VUP Ashillian Republic and Eastern Jaden an Illiegal action and after the Pyrian Goverment refused to remove troops from the countries the UL declared the Pyrian government a destabilized state and sent soldiers to stop pyrian expansion this started the Great War of Thera though the UL has little influence in North western Seinhalia the Protectorate of Snoalia is a strong power in the region maybe even strong enough to push the AK out of the West

The map has very minor modifications and is in a size of 11x11 so that it is playable on both PC and Android and other mobile devices.

Quise experimentar un poco con los contrastes de los biomas para que estén en sintonía, no se cómo lo verán ustedes pero me quedé contento con el resultado.. espero les guste, sin más aquí la info como siempre.

Hello, hello, here Zana with a new map!

Before the simplistic info I have to mention something very important and that is that to do this little thing you see here I was inspired by a map from the master and gentleman:

@unreal fiber i, congratulations sir, you deserve credit for some of the artistic ideas that I implemented in this map!.

I wanted to experiment a little with the contrasts of the biomes so that they are in tune, I don't know how you see it but I was happy with the result... I hope you like it, without further ado here is the info as always.

My interpretation of an Auroria Continent from MMO RPG Archeage. It's located on the north from East and West continents. I'm planning to merge all my AA maps into one huge megamap in future.

Here I use my technique of making the kingdoms' borders follow the terrain. I put all impassible pixels (water, mountains, lava) exactly between 8x8 squares reserved for the national/city borders. I think it makes kingdoms and cities look more natural as they don't spread infinitely in random directions, but follow the terrain just like in real life. Looking forward for you feedback!

ArcheAge: Haranya (East Continent)

This is an update of my previous ArcheAge East Continent map for Beta with new biomes. However, this time not only I enhanced the map itself, but also added some role-play guide based on the original ArcheAge game.

In the attached files you'll find borders markup with names of cities and provinces. The map of cities contains lore-based locations of sentient species, but feel free to exercise your own fantasy. Most of the names were taken from in-game map, but unfortunately not all locations are present in game. I created my own names for missing locations. Also, I didn't put there any races recommendations because these lands are supposed to be colonized in time.

I assume the devs planned to add a race of revenants (reborn?), but they never did it, and they didn't provide much of information about it. So I didn't include it in my map.

So for now the lore-based races are:

• Firran (cat-people)
• Battleborn (demonic people)
• Orcs
• Gnolls
• Snake-eyed

I'm proud to finally present you my opus magnum - the full map of Archeage universe with all three playable continents: Auroria (North), Nuia (West) and Haranya (East) + small islands available for colonization. This map continues my style of natural borders that follow territorial grid - it means that the borders of kingdoms will be aligned with rivers and mountains as it usually happens in real life. It took me a lot of time to make this map, so I'm looking forward to hear feedback from you!

My last map didn't receive much feedback, so I felt a bit demotivated afterwards. I started working on a completely new map from another MMO RPG game, which doesn't have Worldbox map yet. But I'm not sure if I'll manage to finish it as the process of creating maps is quite time consuming. However, if this map becomes popular, this will motivate me to keep on working on the new ones

Presenting the first ever Warhammer 40k map set during the Horus Heresy. With a good level of accuracy it features the galactic map of the Imperium of Man with segmentums, and accurate locations for each of the Primarch planets. Half of the Primarch planets were modeled after direct images of them and the rest were based heavily on description. It also features most of the important lore characters down to first captains of each Space Marine legion and many of the unit types. Every subspecies, culture, language, and religion has already been balanced appropriately (IMO) and the heresy is ready to unfold. Remove the population controls in the world laws if you want larger battles.

Subspecies include: Normal humans, Perpetuals, Primarchs, Astartes/Heretic Astartes, Skitarii/Heretic Skitarii, Greater/Lesser Daemons, Chaos spawn

Geocastria is world coincidentally very similar to the one directly above, if features 36 planets with various water lanes connecting them and mountains serving as the space between. There are also names and other text inscribed directly into the map to make regions and individual planets more interesting to keep track of. The map is not based on any outside game or stories and is its own standalone map.

It's my immense pleasure to present this map of Azeroth, as seen from the game World of Warcraft. It was very fun working on this map as I've enjoyed the lore of the verse since I was younger. I tried to get the map as accurate as I could. Units will path across the map through the same mountain passes and bridges as in the game. The map also features almost every in game zone on Azeroth. There are also a multitude of references to the game drawn into the map.

The coastlines were drawn post Cataclysm, however I wanted to re-enact the First War just after the opening of the Dark Portal, so most of the biomes and factions were made with that in mind. Important lore characters have been added to every factions as well. All units, cultures and languages have been balanced as best as I could get them (I didn't do religion though.) Hope you all enjoy.

All areas that units should not have access to are separated by a thick line of mountains, preventing in most cases all creatures from accessing it, however:
-if a civilization's religion develops teleport trait, the units may be able to access parts they shouldn't, so if you notice it, I recommend just disabling this trait for better experience, if you don't want them to do it
-From time to time units somehow get into the parts they shouldn't be able to access, and I still don't really have idea why and how this happens, although very few units in the scale of whole civilization do it so it doesn't really interrupt the gameplay that much. I just can't really do anything
I apologize for those 2 inconveniences, but I just could't really do anything about them.
Also, the minerals are disabled from spawning naturally and a lot of them is already distributed to make possible for civilizations to build their own mines and get the minerals on their own, but if the minerals spawning in the inaccessible parts of the world aren't a problem for you, you can enable it, or just give them to kingdoms yourself if you think they don't have enough of them.

I tested this map a lot, made a lot of changes and made sure I made playing it as enjoyable as I could.
I know it's a very specific style and a lot of people will think this map plays like garbage, and I understand it as everyone has the right to have their own preferences, I just wanted to clarify that I worked really hard for this map to be BOTH pretty good looking AND fun to play (at least for me). There are some things I couldn't really do much about that make the gameplay not as perfect as I would like it to be, but in my opinion it turned out pretty well, I did what I could, and I apologize for what I couldn't.
I can definitely say that making this was super fun and I hope I will make another map like this in the future.

My brand new world designed from scratch. It has a diverse landscape, with biomes large enough to sustain one or more cities.

Natural borders play a key role in shaping the world: two-pixel-wide rivers can only be crossed at specific points, while smaller rivers remain freely passable. Mountains are impassable, but carefully placed passes create strategic chokepoints that influence expansion and warfare.

Ideal for organic civilization growth, exploration, and dynamic conflicts shaped by the terrain.

This map contains every biome in the game which you can obtain using seeds (+ wastelands) and many monoliths distributed in a way to cover every biome by its power.
Feel free to change word laws in a way that will make the playing experience enjoyable for you, especially considering the fact that the law allowing monoliths to work is turned on by default, so if you don't want the entire map to erupt in new civilizations created by different sapient creatures I recommend turning it off.
Also, if everything goes as planned, you can expect a new map from me in a few days 🏛️
