I used to enjoy the game when mods like collection mod were present

I had a lot of ways to custom the world systems

Such as levels, quests and rewards for certain actions, was so interesting to see individuals reach high lvls, I'd even do lore for them

Alas the mod doesn't exist anymore

forest is the level between soil and hill, but your mountains look like they skip over forest

i think skipping forest makes them look steeper, like canyons/cliffs

How to access the worldbox data folder on android 11 to 13.
If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,

4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),

Some phones can handle up to maps of up to a land area of 150, with likely performance decreases if the map has a large population and amount of vegetation. Therefore, maps within these restrictions are what's usually considered "mobile friendly".
However, keep in mind that "mobile friendly" doesn't mean that it's always good for your specific phone, pay attention to aspects like the map.wbox KB/MB size and compare it to what your specific phone was already able to run in the past. The definition for "mobile friendly" is just an average, there's always going to be better phones that can also run huge maps and worse phones that even struggle with iceberg.

a zip will contain several folDers

each folDer is nameD after a continent

it will incluDe a map.box, preview.png, attributions (e.g. ESA), anD a folDer calleD "subDivisions"

the subDivisions will contain subcontinents, regions anD countries, with the same format as the first layer (continents)

it will enD after the scale becomes too small for me to make it in a realistic amount of time, probably at the national level, or possibly even at first-level aDministrative Divisions for larger countries

i have OCD anD i Dont wanna feel like i misseD something or i coulD have Done better

How do I download a map on iOS

1: already have save files
2: find a map in the discord you want
3: create a new folder in your saves folder in your files app and name it whatever save file you wish to download the map in (ex if you want to download a map you need to use an empty save so go in your saves and check which ones haven’t been tampered with)
4: once you have your save of choice create the empty folder and name it “save_” with whatever save number you wish to use (eg if you were to use your 35th save you would name it “save35”
5: download whatever map you want via the discord and click open with - files - saves - save35 (or whatever empty file folder you created)
6: make sure before you save it that the name of the file has been renamed to “map.wbox” anything else won’t work
7: launch worldbox, go to the save which you created the folder with, it should show an empty world but still give you the option to launch it.
8: press load world and if the world you downloaded is small enough it should launch flawlessly.

Note that any map you download should be listed as mobile friendly in the #🌐map-downloads and if you are on IPhone the sweet spot is anything under 16x16, above that it’ll lag out or randomly crash no matter what. Idk about iPad but that’s what i know.

i used hertz mapper but since its CLI i encounter 3 main issues

1. be able to like have exactly map sizes for the image to map( like rn the 8k/4k image i use it only gives me like a map size of 140x70ish and i don't know how to increase the map size)

2. It uses walls a lot to build the map and individually removing all of them in extremely large map sizes is very very tedious

3. i may need to have it use only the biomes and things available for 0.22.0 or pre 0.50 so it can run, since it seems it generates maps specifically for only 0.50, idk if you can stablely or at all run maps made for 0.50 for 0.22.9

The reason why there are so many slavery empires is because the elves practice slavery or at the very least look down on non-elvish poeple which they will seek to control for their own gain.

There are two factions fighting against the pro-slavery elves but with different methods. You can read it up in the world description before loading the world in.

Only this way empires will continue to split and reforge alliances if a super hegemon appears

The ayleids in this particular map have enslaved a bird poeple race native to Cyrodiil (You will see a small farm region there). And additionally humans, which are now fighting with the Alessian Rebellion for their freedom.

You will see that I wrote the lore in such way that everyone has some dirt sticking on them.

There is no ultimate "good" faction.

This is closer to real life.

And also aligns with what TES attempted to achieve.

One anti-slavery faction is the Blackwood Company, however, it is more trueful to call them an anti-oppression faction as they do sell slaves on their own (further described as to why in the world description).
Only the Alessians are purely anti-slavery in every sense of the word, but it comes with a human-centric and socio-imperialist outlook

Please note that the map is incredibly messed up, as I am not able to contain the culture spread despite the ways I have edited the cultures.

Religions are the worst tho, as they keep pumping out undesirable religions and replace my nerfed and renamed ones.

At some point I just gave up.

I also find no way in which I can affect alliance naming. Or the names of cities and kingdoms of new species or cultures.

6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,
