make sure your image resolution is in multiples of 64. so if you wanted a 10x10 map your image needs to be 640x640, for example

in game 64 pixels is equivalent to 1 map unit

1. Download ZArchiver (or use any other archiver, but steps may be added or deleted, depends on archiver)
2. Download map.wbox file from #🌐map-downloads or #🌐✔cool-maps
3. Copy map.wbox file
4. Paste it to Android\data\com.mkarpenko\files\saves\save1 (if you have premium, you can save to any other save like save2, save2 etc.)
5. Launch game and load save slot 1 (again, if you have premium, remember number (save2, save3) and load corresponding slot)
6. Profit

Mountains... Everyone seems to make mountains differently, and I don't have a favourite way

Oh, and even though this is worldbox, I try to avoid making continents look like square boxes. They look less natural then

Westeros from Game of Thrones looks like two boxes stacked on top of each other, with Essos another box next to them. I don't like it

And it's because the map maker made those continents to cover an entire page of a book, when real maps aren't easy to fit completely in a page

Make a WORLDBOX world (doesn’t matter what size, smaller to load faster I guess), then save it to a slot (remember the slot number).
If you have a map.wbox file, click ctrl + c on it to copy it.

1. Click WindowsButton + R on your computer
2. type %appdata% in the search bar that just appeared in the bottom left corner.
3. click backspace (not delete, backspace), you should see a new folder pop up
4. click LocalLow, scroll until you see mparkenko (or something like that),
5. Double click the folder and you should find the WORLDBOX folder, 6. double click that
6. Double click the saves folder.
7. If you have a map.wbox file, go into the folder that corresponds with your save number you made in the very beginning. Then ctrl+v, and a prompt will come up asking if you want to replace the old map.wbox. Click ok (remember to pick the one you don’t care about), and open up WORLDBOX again, you should have it

Quick recommendation: Make it so that countries don't share some of their colors so that it is easier to differentiate it from other countries. From a quick glance it looks like the UK and Denmark share colors, France and Sweden share colors, and last Belgium, Spain, and Iran share colors. Other than that I like everything else about it!

I gave them each their iconic colors associated with the nation, and considering none of them have too close of a proximity I think it should be fine. I’m gonna start running tests soon though, so I’ll probably take your advice

There is no executable. After you extracted the archive, there will be an imagetomap folder. You can directly run the program by running python -m imagetomap in the terminal. Or you can python setup.py to install the program, and then you can run imagetomap anywhere
